OUR STORY

So F@ncie! is the creative name of Angela McClain.  Angela was born and raised in Seattle, WA and spent 18 years living in Washington, DC after moving there for college.  She created SO F@ncie! while at home with her then newborn and second child Ayva.  Initially she asked a friend who was preparing to move to create for her, but because her supplies were packed away she couldn't. Angela then began shopping around for what she envisioned but got frustrated with the selection available of cute clothing for women & girl sports fans. That forced her to try her own hand. She knew whatever she was going to create had to be classy: not overly decorated, gaudy and extra embellished. That was not her thing.  Plus, she couldn't sew (lol).

The item definitely had to stand out but also be subtle; pretty much how her fashionable mother had raised her to dress. To her surprise after customizing the baby shoes, people were requesting items for their little girls AND boys AND themselves!! Soon she perfecting her craft by customizing a lot more than just shoes!

 

Four years later she has now customized memorable specialty items for professional sports families, close family & friends, and entrepreneurs like herself. She is excited to bring together two things she loves; creating and fashion, and welcomes her customers ideas that expand her customizing expertise.
